A free expansion slot, with the protective plate removed

Make sure the SCSI card is pushed securely into place; you may need to apply some additional

pressure to seat the card completely into the slot. The gold prongs should barely be visible if the

card is secure in the slot.

Once the card is firmly in place, you should secure it in place with a screw.
